Here you will find what you need to know about weather in Guanacaste for each month.
Here i will show you what you can expect each month
-In Costa Rica, the seasons are divided into Dry Season and Rainy Season.
-The Dry season runs from December to May and the Rainy season from May to November.
The rain season is not the same on each province, Guanacaste is the driest area of the country so rain season do not affect this area as the other provinces, we don't have full day rain not even in October that is the rainiest months, longer that rain last is 1 hour a day so rain season is not a factor to worry when visit Guanacaste.
Definitely don't waist time on forecast apps.
January
It is a windy month and temperatures start getting hot, all nature around is green and we may have some rain but it will be very little and is mostly at the beginning of the month. is high season so hotels are crowded, good to go in land tours with waterfalls, and enjoy the beach, check wind for the water excursions, you will love to be at the pool or the beach with a could drink.
February
It is the flowers months, is windy and temperature is hot also the nature start getting a brown color but you still see some green around. Perfect to go out and explore the country, fishing is great for Mahi-mahi and you will love any activity that involve water or pool. It is a great month to enjoy sun and beach.
March
Is little windy, nothing that bothers. Temperatures gets hot also the nature all brown around, small rivers don't have water and dirt roads gets dusty, great to enjoy water activities and Rainforest, is high season but not crowded. It is the Cashews fruit season. for the ones that like beach and not a lot people it will be perfect. 
April
It is our hottest month, also our driest month but at the end we can have a very little rain, is the Roosterfish month, great for pool, beach and any activity that have waterfalls or ocean, could beers and refreshing cocktails are fantastic, on Easter week hotels and beaches are full of local tourist. Afternoons are perfect to see the best sunsets, if you don't care about hot you will enjoy every minute here.
May
It is the beginning of the rain season but don´t worry it will not affects your vacations, temperature start coming down but not a lot, it still a hot month with a lot sun, surrounding nature still brown colors but after the first rains it will start changing to green, the mornings are great to enjoy the beach or pool, you can enjoy exploring the country without been worried about weather. After the second week we have more chance for rain in the afternoon but never for more than one hour.
June
Hello rain season and tropical storms, it is one of the months that we have more chance for rain because is the beginning of the tropical storms season, but if rain it will be on the afternoon, also it doesn´t means that will rain everyday and when rains it will be in the afternoon and no longer than one hour. Nature around is getting greener everyday, the mornings are sunny and if the day before we had rain the next morning will be humid and with the morning sun you will feel the temperature very hot. Hotels are not full and they start making better prices. 
July
This month is great to be here because all nature around is green, temperature is not hot, we have beautiful sunny mornings to enjoy the beach and pools, ocean is great for water activities, after mid day it can be cloudy but not much chance for rain, this month you can enjoy activities outside the hotel without been worried for rain. we can have some rainy days but in the month maybe 4 to 6 days and this rains will not be for long time and will be in the afternoons. 
August
You will love to be here in this month, the hotels are not crowded, and everything around is beautiful green, temperature is not hot as other months but still hot 😁, you can always enjoy beach and pool in the mornings and also enjoy sunset in the afternoons we can have some rainy days because of the tropical storms, sunny mornings and cloudy afternoons, This month is great for fishing, also for wild life activities and nature adventures. 
September
Low season and one of the best months to be in Guanacaste. It is one of the months that we have less tourist and is one of the months that temperature, Nature and wildlife is better here, surroundings are beautiful, you will appreciate the beauty of the nature and wild life all over. Mornings are sunny and some afternoons are cloudy, not rainy every day, maybe 2 times in a week and the days that we have rain it is strong and for a couple hours in the afternoons or night and it can be with lightnings, because of the clouds some days you will not see a full sunset but will appreciate beautiful colors on the sky. Great for deep sea fishing, wild life, volcanoes and hot springs. Ocean water is could.
October
It is our rainiest month and our lowest season for foreign tourist, on this month we have a lot probabilities for rain, but is not everyday and not raining all day usually is for one hour or two, can be rainy some mornings and sunny the afternoons, can be sunny and cloudy during the day and rainy a lot at night, we can have lightnings and thunders storms at night. In this month we have to recommend to be very careful if you visit waterfalls or rivers, better not to go by your own. On average is beautiful and you will enjoy a lot, is good time to be here but rain can change your plans on tours or activities, great for atvs, fishing, Volcanoes and hot springs. Ocean water is could.

November
Rain seasons finish. It is a great month to visit Guanacaste, temperature is great, rain don't bothers, nature is all green and beautiful, wild life all around, is very sunny but not hot, we can have days with some showers but nothing that bothers your vacations, hotels are less expensive and you can do all kind of activities without being worried for weather. Because is low season and prices are lowest you will find some hotels full of local tourist on the weekends, mostly Planet Hollywood and the Riu Hotels.
December
Our dry season stars on December, this month is low season until last week, so is common to find a lot local tourist during the weekends on the hotels. Temperature start getting high, maybe two or three days of small rains on the month, nature and weather is beautiful, great to plan any activity that you like and you will love sunny mornings with blue skies and beautiful sunsets in the afternoons. Is great to spend a lot time on the beach and pools because temperature is warm. after the second week we will start receiving the winds from North so at the end of December it will be very windy, mostly in the afternoons. is the season of local festivals so you can take a little time to explore some culture.
